Trump Will Not Give a 'Single Penny' to Ukraine if Elected, Says Orban
More details on the plan to end the war in '24 hours'
Following their March 8 meeting at Mar-a-Lago, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Donald Trump would stop aid to Ukraine. “He (Trump) has a very clear vision,” Orbán said in an interview to Hungarian broadcaster M1 aired on Sunday. “He says the following: first, he will not give a single penny for the Russo-Ukrainian war. That’s why the war will end, because it’s obvious that Ukraine cannot stand on its own two feet.”
The comments reveal Trump's plan to end the Ukraine war in "24 hours:" stopping U.S. military aid to Ukraine in order to induce a capitulation from Kyiv. Trump's plan isn't just theoretical: House Republicans loyal to Trump are holding up some $60 billion in military aid.
Trump's Ukraine policy is yet another way he has favored autocrats over democratically-elected leaders. To Trump, Putin is "highly respected," Orban is "fantastic," and, according to Trump's former chief of staff, John Kelly, Hitler "did some good things."
